2000s-Present

Louisa's ongoing work in the music and entertainment industry has served her in her passion for the Arts. Through her innate understanding of the industry, Louisa's career led her to work with some of the worlds leading museums and collections and later led to the co-founding of The Virtual Gallery (2002-2007). A successful exhibition space in the heart of central London representing Getty Images and showcasing contemporary art installations as well as leading exhibitions for music, fashion and film photography.

In addition, she collaborated and partnered with a diverse range of clients from Fox/National Geographic, Getty Images and the Condé Nast group through to the Abu Dhabi Cultural Foundation, Singapore Tourism Board, the Maxi Museum in Rome and the V&A.

Highlights:

  • Opening of the Virtual Gallery in conjunction with Hulton Getty Images. Specialising in music and film and hosting exhibitions with new and established artists

  • Creative strategy for Gucci to enable brand expansion through the entertainment industry

  • Worldwide launch of the first music channel for National Geographic. Content management and industry partnerships

  • Strategy development for Conde Nast's 'Tatler' magazine's front cover exhibition

  • Advisory consultancy for Singapore Tourist Board on promotion through the international music industry

  • Management of 'Music Master, Beirut' for Warner Music

  • Project collaborations for Abu Dhabi Cultural Foundation, Victoria & Albert Museum, Somerset House and the Museum of San Gennaro in Naples and the Elmer Bernstein Estate in Los Angeles

The 1990s

In the 90's Louisa established Virtual Entertainment Ltd, a London based consultancy working with artists, management & entertainment groups and clients from a diverse array of industries who were looking for a better understanding of the entertainment industry. Some of her clients included record companies like Sony Music, Emi, Polygram and Warner Music, while she also played an advisory role to the creation of new independent music television channels.

With the rise of technology within these industries, Louisa found herself expanding her business collaborations working in the nascent territory of rights ownership - a new challenge for a new era encompassing music but also the realm of digital imagery.

Clients from the 90s included Slane Castle in Dublin, Pop 2000 Conference, Riverhorse Records, the Hulton Getty photographic archive, Allsport Getty, the Rolling Stones (Italian San Siro Milan Stadium Show), David Bowie at the Florence Biennale, Italian ministry of Communication (for an anti Drink Drive campaign) and London Music Week.

Highlights:

  • Marketing consultation for 20 million strong 'Hulton Getty' photographic archive and development of TV documentary concepts

  • Creation of cutting-edge exhibition for Allsport (Sydney, Milan, New York) working with upcoming video and film directors

  • Co-ordination of David Bowie's Florence show in which he was participating as an installation artist in the first 'Florence Bienale'

  • Development of Italian government's 'Drink Drive' campaign for the youth market through Bates Doreland Conference programming and logistics for London Music Week

The 1980s

Through out the 80's, Louisa worked with David Zard, Italy's number one rock music promoter, managing and producing live shows for leading world names thereby ensuring their touring and recording success in Italy. Artists included Spandau Ballet, Sade, Terence Trent D'Arby, Bob Dylan & Tom Petty, Neil Young, Carlos Santana, Genesis, Pink Floyd, Duran Duran, David Bowie, Elton John and Stevie Wonder.

Highlights:

  • Introduced innovative brand sponsorship, product placement and partnership within the live international music industry

  • Initiated strategic partnerships and projects with Greenpeace, WWF and Italian Government Bodies

  • Managed Michael Jackson's 'Bad' tour in Italy. Liased with Pepsi to maximise brand presence at Rome's world premiere launch

  • Co-ordinated Madonna's 'Who's That Girl' Tour in Italy with an international live TV broadcast on VHS titled Ciao, Italia!

  • Management of Pink Floyd's Italian leg of the 'Momentary Lapse of Reason Tour'

  • 'The Giants Of Rock 'N' Roll' in Rome 1989 with Little Richard, Fats Domino, BB King, Jerry Lee Lewis, Ray Charles & James Brown
